Recently, the Ford Mustang Mach-E® and Ford Explorer® both underwent tweaks to their front overlap crash testing to successfully earn them an overall "good" rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The Mustang Mach-E received the coveted TOP SAFETY PICKwhen equipped with certain headlights. This means that Grand Rapids drivers can feel confident in the top safety standards of the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Ford Explorer SUVs. We are proud of the high standards of our Ford vehicles which continue to deliver the confidence and quality people expect from the Ford brand.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is our pure electric SUV with plenty of get-up-and-go and stylish design to satisfy first-time and veteran electric vehicle owners alike. The Mustang Mach-E received a good rating in every IIHS safety category, which sets it apart as one of the top-scoring electric midsize SUVs on the market. The highest scores were achieved during the latest crash test results, thanks to Ford's pretensioner and load-limiting technology in its seatbelt designs.
