When planning on taking a road trip, you want to plan light. Try to bring just the essentials and the things that you absolutely need. This is a good rule of thumb to follow, especially if your are travelling with passengers. You want to be able to enjoy our trip and not be smothered by your luggage. You also want to have room for the cool souvenirs that you will inevitably collect along the way. It's also a good idea to know what you are doing and where you are wanting to go not only once you get to your destination, but along the way, as well. If you are passing by a really cool attraction, pull over and check it out! Take some pictures! Remember to have fun! Even if some of your plans fall through, which they sometimes do, then just do something else! It doesn't really matter!
