See How the 2019 Ford F-150 beats the 2019 Ram 1500 for Grand Rapids Drivers

When you're shopping for a capable and dependable truck for you to enjoy for years to come, you don't have to look far to find the perfect truck you need with Fox Grand Rapids Ford. The F-150 has been the truck of choice for many drivers around Byron Center, and you're sure to choose it over the Ram 1500 once you see how they compare.

What's New for 2019?

The Ford F-150 gains a few new things for this year including new engine availability among the trim levels, and the Raptor trim gains new features for improved off-roading capability. The 2019 Ram 1500 was redesigned for this model year with new style, features, and updated offerings.

Engines & Handling

The Ford F-150 features six engine options to pick from, while the Ram 1500 offers three choices.

It's easy to see why so many drivers choose the versatile Ford F-150 for their needs because it's easy to find the perfect engine for your life here in Michigan.

While the Ram 1500 might be touted as the most comfortable truck out there, it just can't compare to the versatility and capabilities of the Ford F-150. To start, the off-road oriented F-150 Raptor offers an unmatched capability for all of your adventures on, and off, road around Middleville. This trim brings you four-wheel drive, skid plates, a locking rear differential, off-road racing suspension, and more. The Ram 1500's off-road trim, the Rebel, doesn't offer the same capability as the Raptor does.

Technology & Safety

Both trucks offer an infotainment system for you to enjoy, and the available SYNC 3® system on your Ford F-150 is easy to use with a bright and clear touchscreen and all the bells and whistles you could want. The Ram 1500 does offer a large 12-inch touchscreen display, but you'll miss out on extra features like the Wi-Fi hotspot that are offered by the SYNC 3® system.

The Ram 1500 offers a rearview camera as standard equipment, while the Ford F-150 brings automatic high beams, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and a rearview camera as standard goodies. Plus, the rearview camera on the F-150 includes the Dynamic Hitch Assist that helps you easily hook up your trailer without needing to get out and check that everything's lined up right. You'll have to spend more to get the standard features of the F-150 on your new Ram 1500 here in the Caledonia area.
